+ submissions
o bod is curated by our editors and guest editors. we have open reading periods in the months of january and june, when we consider previously unpublished work and welcome short (2-4 line) pitches at obodmag@gmail.com.
as a small nonprofit, we cannot respond to all submissions, but our editorial board reviews them collectively, with care, and with no regard for the hierarchies of publishing. we seek to publish unknown writers and artists alongside the known and celebrated. always, we are interested in work that breaks with conventions of form.
+ funding
contributors to o bod are paid for their work. issues 1-4 received funding from the centre for expanded poetics at concordia university. o bod now forms part of the nonprofit collective poétiques expansés.
